Overview And Experience
Mei joined the Corporate and Commercial team in August 2021. She advises entrepreneurs, investors, startups and established businesses across a variety of sectors on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters.
Mei’s practice includes advising on company sales and acquisitions, investments, commercial contracts, corporate governance, bespoke articles of association and shareholders’ agreements.
In her spare time, Mei enjoys travelling and learning new languages. She is an intermediate Mandarin and French speaker.
Mei is a partner in the Corporate Group. Mei has extensive experience in advising Israeli and international clients in all aspects of commercial transactions and agreements, and provides ongoing commercial and regulatory advice to companies on various aspects of their business. Mei has extensive experience in advising clients in all aspects of antitrust law including analyzing antitrust issues in M&A transactions, implications for business joint ventures, and representation of companies in large scale and complex cases concerning restrictive trade practices. Mei also has many years of experience and expertise in handling commercial litigation and in representing clients in complex, large scale class action cases, product liability cases and mass torts. Her experience in litigation provides her with a broad perspective on all aspects of the legal issues encountered by her clients.
Mei represents and counsels international corporations in their business activities in Israel. She also regularly handles litigation for foreign clients in legal proceedings in Israel and has experience in addressing the special issues they face.
Mei was among the first attorneys in Israel to practice in the area of D&O insurance and indemnification, and has extensive experience and understanding in negotiating these policies and in filing claims under these policies.
Over the years, Mei has been consistently ranked by prominent international legal guides as a highly recommended individual, and as a leader and expert in her fields of practice.
In 2018, Who’s Who Legal, the official research partner of the International Bar Association, selected Mei as being among the world’s leading product liability defense lawyers. Mei was nominated by in-house counsel and her peers as one of the outstanding practitioners in this field. Also in 2018, Corporate INTL Magazine recognized Mei as a leading adviser for Product Liability Law services in Israel with an outstanding reputation, and Expert Guides – Product Liability selected Mei in 2017 as one of its experts given her expertise and reputation in this area.
